This program covers training and preparation for dogs and teams to be deployed in tactical operations and CT roles. It focuses on developing the dog and handler’s capabilities to work in more complex environments and situations, and in close proximity to other tactical team members. The TOD program covers the design and implementation of effective training scenarios and includes extensive training on the hidden suit, as well as muzzle and civil work in diverse and reality based situations.

The program also comprehensively covers OH & S considerations, functional exercise design and structured learning outcomes. This course is competency based and successful personnel will receive a certificate acknowledging those competencies and skill sets.

Duration: 10 days; or 5 days for personnel who have completed the Law Enforcement Operations Decoy program.
