K9 TRAINERS HIGH-PERFORMANCE BOOTCAMP

2 days of intensive training and working with our team of highly trained working & service dogs at our world-class facilities in Melbourne & Queensland.

This is not a watch and observe or classroom program; this is the real deal, training with real working dogs. For example; delegates will get the opportunity to handle experienced/operational working dogs and be coached as they conduct: Area, Room and Vehicle Searches and Search & Rescue scenarios.

Our BootCamps cover the development and foundation work required to develop high-performance working and service dogs. We have dogs at all stages in development and as such you will have the opportunity to see how we progress the dogs through each of their stages and to develop them as operational teams.

The program includes:

• 2 full days of hands-on training at one of Australia’s premier working and service dog training facilities.
• Extensive handling and training activities with our highly trained working and service dogs, and our pups/young dogs under development in obedience, search & detection and other specialist roles
• K9 Boot Camp trainer’s manual and take-home video footage of the dogs working and training sessions
• All dogs, equipment and resources supplied (Just turn up and train)

As our BootCamps are very hands-on there are strictly limited numbers.

Our next Boot Camp is scheduled at our Melbourne Facility on 13th-14th April 2020.

FACILITIES

This Boot Camps are generally conducted at our Melbourne or Queensland rural training facilities. We currently conduct a range of national and international training programs at this facility and it offers all the resources and equipment required to conduct an extensive range of activities. The Facility offers full indoor training facilities and extensive outdoor training areas that offer excellent open area and wilderness training opportunities.

The facility is located in Melbourne’s outer eastern suburbs (Lysterfield). The venue is 5 minutes drive from a shopping/restaurant precinct that offers numerous choices for dine-in or takeaway food. Car parking is available on site. No public transport services the facility directly however the nearest train station is only a 15 minute drive. We are approx 30 km from Melbourne CBD which is around a 40 minute drive off peak.

TIMINGS

The program commence at 9am sharp each day and ends around 4pm. We have several 15 minute breaks throughout the day and around 45 minutes for lunch. Shops and food outlets are 5 minutes away.

YOUR OWN DOG

Due to the intensive nature of the BootCamp training program you will not need to bring your own dog. We have many dogs of various breeds and ages who are at different levels in their development. You will be working with these dogs during the program.

INTERSTATE AND INTERNATIONAL DELEGATES

If you are not a local and you require help with logistics and travel please contact us and we will endeavour to assist. We can connect you with local representatives for flights, transport, accommodation and other requirements.

ACCOMMODATION

For convenience we recommend the Rowville International Hotel which is located an easy 10 minute drive from our location. Many other alternatives within a 15/20 minute radius are available in Knox or Dandenong.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Deposits/booking fees are not refundable.

If you have paid the full amount for the program and you cancel up to 5 or more working days prior to commencement all payments except the deposit/booking fee amount will be refunded or credited towards a future course or BootCamp.

For cancellations within 5 days of program commencement no refunds are available as it is unlikely we will be able to fill your position.

If you need to cancel you are welcome to find a replacement and all payments can be transferred. In all cases deposits/booking fees, or the equivalent amount of the deposit if full payment has been made will not be refundable as this amount goes to covering our logistics, booking and administration costs
